Emilia Clarke has ruled out appearing in any of the five planned Game of Thrones spin-offs that we're all very confused about.

Talking to Rolling Stone, she was asked about Daenerys Targaryen's future and basically confirmed she'll be in the final season, although it'd be some low blow if she was killed off in season seven after we've waited this long to see her in Westeros.

"I have no doubt there'll be prequels and sequels and who knows what else. But I am doing one more season. And then that'll be it," Emilia explained.

As for season seven, she joked that she's spent "more time" filming in Belfast after Daenerys finally made her move at the end of season six, and teased more of what we can expect from the upcoming season.

"It's a really interesting season in terms of some loose ends that have been tied, some really satisfying plot points, some things where you're like, 'Oh, my God. I forgot about that!' Rumours are going to be confirmed or denied," Emilia outlined.

She's also reflected on finally hanging up the blonde wig after Game of Thrones ends – potentially in 2019 – and what it'll mean for her.

"There's going to be a shake-up of my identity, I think. And I feel like I'm only going to understand what the last seven years has been when we stop," Emilia said. "It makes me emotional to think about."

Earlier this month, Emilia shot down one of the most popular fan theories about Daenerys and Jon Snow.
