Until season six, Jon Snow and Sansa Stark hadn't seen each other since the first episode of Game of Thrones. And, as we know from the books, these siblings never had the best relationship, with Sansa always unsympathetic toward her bastard half-brother.

So, it was a rare heartwarming moment last season when, after the two reunited, Jon and Sansa worked together to strategise the defeat of Ramsay Bolton during the Battle of the Bastards. After it all, she sat by his side while his loyal lords proclaimed him the King of the North. But near the end of Season Seven, Littlefinger, that slippery little shit, was already trying to weasel his way between Jon and Sansa by suggesting the Stark woman should be the rightful Queen of the North.

Well, nothing good ever lasts in this damn show, because Kit Harington has confirmed that the tension will only grow between Jon and Sansa.

"There is definite tension between them right from the first scene," Harington told Entertainment Weekly. "There are the same problems—she questions his decisions and command; he doesn't listen to her. But as far as where that goes or takes them or how dark it can get, we'll see. It gets past sibling squabbling, it gets into two people power struggling."

As for Snow, the only thing promising is the character will quit being the brooding weirdo and finally take charge.

"It's a nice change for me this season, he talks more, he's more sure of himself," Harington said of his character. "He doesn't just know what he's got to do but he's more sure of what he's saying—whereas before there was always some fear and doubt. I've gotten to enjoy not just grunting."

Anyway, that, along with the horrible villain worse than Ramsay we've been promised, should make for a delightful season of television.
