In 'Stormborn', the second episode of Game of Thrones season 7, Arya meets her long-lost direwolf, Nymeria, who we last saw all the way back in season one.

In the meeting, it appeared as though Nymeria was the direwolf pack leader and seemed reluctant to go with Arya again after so long without her master.

But then Arya looks at the wolf and says, "It's not you."

Maisie Williams explained the scene in a new interview with Entertainment Weekly: "Ever since the show got rid of Nymeria, it's one of the questions I've been tweeted the most.

"It's even nicer that they don't live happily ever after. Nymeria has created her own world and created her own pack and isn't ready to be Arya's pet.

She continued: "To be someone's pet would reverse everything she's learned. So they almost just regard each other and go their separate ways."
