With the White Walkers rapidly descending on the Seven Kingdoms (the Hound saw those Walkers pretty far south in his fire vision), there's plenty to worry about in this season's Game of Thrones.

However, what a lot of fans really want to know is is how the White Walkers will get through that pesky Wall when they get there – especially because if they don't, the rest of our questions are made very redundant indeed.

Fortunately, it looks like at least one of the remaining GoT mysteries still left in play has been solved by eagle-eyed viewers who think they've spotted exactly how the Walkers will continue their march through a very wintery Westeros, taking the lives of all our favourite characters to beef up their security detail.

And all you need to know is that this theory rests on one single principle: What if the Walkers went not through the wall, but around it?

In the Hound's fire vision from the season seven premiere 'Dragonstone', he recounted the lines: "It's where the wall meets the sea, the dead are marching past."

Taken at its most literal sense, this would mean the dead are marching past the end of the wall sea-side, but how? Because we've already seen the White Walkers halted by water as Jon and his troops left in 'Hardhome'(and somehow, we can't see the Night King slipping into scuba gear anytime soon).

Well, the answer to this pressing question may have already been solved in the opening credits for season 7.

Indeed, as we pan over the wall, it's clear to see the sea has frozen over right next to where the wall stands, which wasn't the case in the credits for the show's previous seasons:

Chilling.
