Game of Thrones fans have every reason to fear about Arya and Sansa Stark's relationship going forward.

Away from the heartbreaking scenes with Jon, Daenerys and co, 'Beyond the Wall' also saw Arya (Maisie Williams) confront Sansa (Sophie Turner) about the letter to Robb which Sansa was coerced into writing.

It was a scene filled with tension that climaxed with Arya giving Sansa her knife, almost as if to say she could kill her, but she doesn't want to and is therefore on her side – potentially to take down Littlefinger.

However, after Sansa essentially listened to Littlefinger's advice to send Brienne away, we're worried that Sansa could be thinking of potentially killing Arya.

And it seems we might be right to worry.

"I love the fact that these two come back, they're both lethal, and I just wanted to give the impression, as much as possible, that one of them is going to die. But you're not sure which one," the episode's director Alan Taylor told HuffPost.

Oh God…

"Arya is certainly lethal and sort of threatening, but when Sansa sends Brienne away, who is Arya's natural protector, something is coming very soon between them, and it will be violent but surprising," Taylor teased.

We can only hope the surprise relates to the look on Littlefinger's face when Arya kills him.
