The season 4 trailer for Black Mirror is here, and it features what looks like the most futuristic episode to date.

The episode in question is called 'USS Callister', and features a pretty crazy-looking spaceship (think Star Trek, but creepier) flying around the universe.

Breaking Bad's Jesse Plemons will star in the episode alongside his Fargo co-star Cristin Milioti, Westworld's Jimmi Simpson and Chewing Gum's leading lady Michaela Coel.

The episode has been directed by Toby Haynes, who's previously worked on Doctor Who (among a ton of other things) so knows his way around a sci-fi.

The trailer gave us the titles for all the other episodes of the upcoming season too – 'Arkangel', 'Crocodile', 'Hang the DJ', 'Metalhead' and 'Black Museum' (in other words, exactly what we thought they were).

Each clip looks as freaky as the last to be honest, but we wouldn't expect any less from Charlie Brooker and the team behind Black Mirror.

The trailer also let us in on a few new castings. Letitia Wright, who also starred in Humans and will appear in the big-screen adaptation of Ernest Cline's novel Ready Player One, can be seen in 'Black Museum'.

Georgina Campbell (Broadchurch) will be in 'Hang the DJ' – marking her second appearance in a sci-fi anthology series this year, as she's also set to appear in an episode of Channel 4's Philip K Dick's Electric Dreams.

Black Mirror returns to Netflix later in 2017.
