Rockstar Games is revamping LA Noire with an HTC Vive version called LA Noire: The VR Case Files.

The VR version of the game will feature seven select cases from the original LA Noire, rebuilt specifically for a virtual reality experience.

Announcing the new versions of the game on Thursday, Rockstar said that the VR experience will use MotionScan, a unique type of performance capture tech used in the original game.

In case you needed a reminder, LA Noire is set in the criminal underworld of 1940s, post-war LA, where war veteran-turned-detective Cole Phelps gets stuck into investigating the grim twists and turns of a series of cases inspired by real-world crimes.

The original game was widely praised on its release, and was even part of the official selection at the 2011 Tribeca Film Festival.

LA Noire will be released for PS4, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch and HTC Vive on 14 November. For more information, visit Rockstar's website.
