Soon the day will come when each and every TV show and movie will be available exclusively on its own stand-alone streaming service. As of now, things are already splintered between HBO, Hulu, Netflix, etc. Meanwhile, CBS All Access is hoping you'll pay more attention to it by exclusively airing Star Trek Discovery on the platform. And Disney is set to launch its own streaming service, which will be the only place to watch many beloved animated classics—along with the Star Wars and Marvel movies.

Disney announced this streaming service in August, which immediately began speculation about the future of the two beloved properties. But, Disney CEO Bob Iger confirmed the news at the Bank of America Merrill Lynch Media, Communications and Entertainment conference (a concise and not at all 1-percent-sounding title).

"I have described a very rich, treasure trove of content for this app. We're going to launch big, and we're going to launch hot," he said. "We've now decided we will put the Marvel and Star Wars movie on this app as well."

Seeing as it's not scheduled to launch until 2019, you still have some time to enjoy Rogue One and Captain America: Civil War. The more terrifying thought, though, is all the screaming children when they realise they suddenly can't watch Moana eight times a day. Prepare for the worst.
