It turns out that The Simpsons robbed us of a scene where Hans Moleman kills two gangsters with playing cards.

The Simpsons writer and producer Josh Weinstein was discussing the seventh season episode '22 Short Films About Springfield', which followed the lives of Springfield's residents across the course of one day.

Moleman didn't get his own scene in the episode, but he originally had one where he played cards with gangsters after stealing Rainier Wolfcastle's Ferrari, before dying at the hands of his identical twin.

"One tantalising page of the long crazy Moleman story we cut entirely from '22 Short Films' where the joke was he was acting out of character," Weinstein explained.

Now we know that it could have been a possibility, we're utterly gutted Moleman didn't get his Die Hard moment.

It's not the first deleted scene we've heard of when it comes to Springfield's unluckiest resident as 'Brother from Another Series' from season eight had him FINALLY get some luck, only for the writers to take it away from him.

Now that surely must feel like a football in the groin.

Last week, American Horror Story: Cult star Colton Haynes changed the way you'll look at Marge forever with a seriously disturbing and X-rated Halloween costume.
