Game of Thrones is a cruel world, so of course married couple Khal Drogo and Daenerys Targaryen never got their happy ending.
Instead, their son was stillborn following intervention from a maegi and Daenerys was forced to smother her own husband with a pillow.
Cheerful.
But the good news is, the couple reunited off screen in London and took an adorable snap as proof.
Actors Jason Momoa and Emilia Clarke were pictured laughing and hugging each other in the photo, which was posted on Emilia's Instagram page.
She captioned it: "When life is so good that your sun and stars is in your city...you loose your eyes and gain 5 grins (and gins) where until now they'd only been one... (*grins- there's always more gins) @prideofgypsies YOU ALWAYS MOTHER OF DRAGONS MAIN MAN".
Fans couldn't have been happier to see the pair back together, heaping them with praise in the comments.
One wrote: "What a lovely happy pic! Great you had an awesome time!" while another branded them "My favourite fictional couple".
If only all the Thrones characters had such harmonious relationships...
Game of Thrones is due to wrap up after its upcoming eighth season - and one person who can't wait for the HBO fantasy epic to end is star Maisie Williams.
"I'm really excited for Game of Thrones to finish, and there's going to be time for me to do whatever I want," she revealed recently.
"I can show the world what sort of actress I want to be and shape my career a little bit."
