Chris Evans Hit A New Low On Top Gear

The show has dipped below 2m viewers for the first time ever

The figure of 1.9 million was half of the Top Gear reboot's launch audience of 4.3 million, although the beleaguered Evans make take some consolation from the fact France's Euro 2016 showdown with England conqueror's Iceland was showing on ITV at the same time.

Whether Evan's launches into another distinctively no chill Twitter rant to rebuke this latest humbling remains to be seen, but either way the only way is (surely) up for man in the yellow t-shirt. Up or, y'know, out.
