Not too long ago, the idea of Woody Allen writing and directing a TV show would have been unfathomable.

But haven't you heard? These days, TV is where it's at for any self-respecting screenwriter (Well, TV shows at least. Nobody watches television anymore, but that's another story).

So the neuroses-peddling film legend has taken on a series of his own – a six-part Amazon exclusive called Crisis in Six Scenes, which is set to star Miley Cyrus and Elaine May.

Set in New York and Los Angeles in the sixties, the romantic comedy follows a suburban family whose lives are "turned upside down" by an unexpected guest. Watch the first trailer above, and gear up for the full release on 30 September.
