The list of the world's highest paid TV actors has been released, and if it's taught us one thing, it's that people must still watch The Big Bang Theory.
In their annual list, Variety surveyed industry figures before estimating the fees that the biggest names command on the small screen, with Big Bang actors Jim Parsons, Kaley Cuoco and Johnny Galecki all receiving an estimated $1m (£786,000) per episode - the highest of anyone amongst comedy and drama shows.
Other surprises came in the form of the newly-revived Gilmore Girls (coming to Netflix next month), with the show's leads Lauren Graham and Alexis Bledel bringing in $750,000 (£590,000) per show, which is more than the $500,000 (£402,000) that Kevin Spacey earns for his role as the nefarious political schemer Frank Underwood on House of Cards.
For Game of Thrones fans, the list suggests that the show's four big leads rake in the measly sum of $500,000 per episode.
