Eamonn Holmes Pranks Sky News Colleague By Texting Him Live On Air

Solid trolling from an Irishman with no shits left to give

Anyone who watches Sky News in the morning will know outgoing anchor Eamonn Holmes is a man with more than a glint of mischief in his eyes, always hovering on the precipice of making some awful remark just to wind up some liberal snowflakes.

Today he managed to cause a small but enjoyable moment of unscripted mayhem on the show when he wasn't even on duty.

Colleague Stephen Dixon was chairing a fairly dull discussion about the intrusive nature of smartphones with an etiquette expert called Liz Brewer, when his own mobile began to buzz.

"Your phone is going! I can't believe it, you didn't even have it switched off," immediately yelled the interrupted Liz, showing a slight lack of etiquette.

Dixon - a curiously charmless member of the Sky clan who has the air of someone who would lose his shit with a 6-year-old if they put a whoopie cushion under his chair – fumbled it out of his pocket with barely concealed annoyance.

"It will be someone deliberately texting because of this interview," he mumbled.
