The first trailer for the upcoming series of Top Gear has been released and promises high-octane thrills, and thankfully, no Chris Evans.
The BBC series looks to be back on its feet after the departure of Jeremy Clarkson, Richard Hammond and James May in 2015. The trio who have subsequently starred in
exactly the same thing a similar motoring show on Amazon, The Grand Tour.
Although Evans departed after just one season, Joey is still at the helm and is now joined by new hosts Chris Harris and Rory Reid.
The trailer intersperses footage of the three presenters explaining themselves to the BBC insurance department with their reckless and speedy escapades in some very expensive vehicles. Cars that get a cameo in the trailer include a 1,036bhp Ferrari FXX K, the new Aston Martin DB11 complete with car chase and an Avtoros Shaman which picks up naked ramblers.
The release date is yet to be announced but if it follows last seasons pattern it will screech onto your screens in early May.
