Game of Thrones actress Sophie Turner might have given the game away a bit regarding seasons 7 and 8 of the HBO show.

Talking to HeyUGuys on the BAFTA red carpet, Sophie revealed: "We're about to start shooting the next X-Men, we've just finished shooting season 7 of Thrones, and I've got a couple of movies to do before X-Men starts. And then we go on to season 8."

Yeah, she pretty much said she's in season 8, which means we can all relax during any Sansa Stark scenes in season 7 because we know she's safe.

Unless she's bluffing, or has been trained to say that, or is only in flashbacks in season 8, or will be appearing as a ghost...

Still, we know some things about her character in the upcoming season 7, as Sophie previously opened up about "dark" Sansa and her potential taste for killing.

When asked about Sansa's mindset in the last season, Sophie said: "There's the smile... her walking away after killing Ramsay. That's quite interesting.

"You wonder if it's just a smile because it's her first kill, because this man is out of her life, or whether she's going to get a taste for it. Whether she enjoyed it. Whether it's a power trip.

"But she definitely is a lot more powerful, and it'll be very interesting to see how she handles that coming up this season."

Game of Thrones season 7 will premiere at the slightly later date of summer 2017 with a shorter run of seven episodes.
