It can reasonably be assumed that Donald Trump has requested a crown at some point during his presidency. That's almost a given. Also – judging by his gaudy New York penthouses, we can only assume he's requested a completely stupid chair to fit into the Oval Office.
Which would all leave him looking more than a little bit like Game of Thrones tyrant Joffrey – but according to author George R.R. Martin, it isn't just a passing, albeit bloated and bronzen resemblance that the former child King of Westeros shares with the President.
"I think Joffrey is now the king in America," Martin told Esquire US. "And he's grown up just as petulant and irrational as he was when he was 13 in the books."
In fairness, this can read as a compliment from Martin – just last year he said that Joffrey would actually be an improvement on Trump. He's really stepped up to the plate on that one.
