Nice work if you can get it

Death, taxes, Harry Kane not being able to score in August, and famous people making loads of money; all certainties in this cold world of ours.

We already know that the GoT crew are raking it in, with main players Emilia Clarke, Nikolaj Coster-Waldau, Peter Dinklage, Kit Harington and Lena Headey all reportedly earning an insane $500,000 (£390,000) per episode – but what about everyone else?

That's an excellent question and we're glad you asked it.

In a list posted by Variety, it's been revealed that, despite the massive numbers brought in by the Westeros Crew, it's actually Robert De Niro (yep, he's still going), who topped the list of highest paid actors, with reported earnings of $775,000 (£660,000) per episode for his upcoming untitled Amazon project with director David O. Russell.

Impressive as that is, the outlier and real winner in all this is Mark Harmon, the second highest-earner on the list. You've never heard of him, yet as the main man on CIS he makes an astounding $525,000 (£408,000) per episode.

Do people seriously still watch CIS?

Obviously...

Well played, Mark.

Shoutout to Mark
