But as the internet is somewhere for people to argue black is white, someone of course has spoken out to believe the slimy backstabber was poorly treated.

Twitter user Hanna Loren piped up earlier this week to argue, "He wanted justice on the society for his humiliation, they looked down on him out of his poor background. He never hurt sansa [sic]."

But Sophie Turner, who plays Sansa, wasn't about to let that slide.

Hanna wasn't done there though (is anyone ever 'done' arguing on Twitter?) and hit back saying, "Reminder: Petyr Baelish gave back Winterfell to the Starks. He killed Joffrey. He saved Sansa and Jon. He won the battle of bastartds [sic]."

Cue Sophie to wade in once more.

If anyone would know, it's the girl whose spent years tangled up in these storylines.

Ned would be so proud.
