The woman who owns a property made famous by Breaking Bad is having to put up a six-foot iron fence to stop people lobbing pizza on her roof. A a six-foot iron fence.
The property in New Mexico became an unsuspecting cult hotspot because of this scene from season 3 when Walter White loses it after a fight with his wife and chucks a giant pepperoni pizza on the roof.
For years die-hard Breaking Bad fans have been going on a pilgrimage to the property to re-create the scene. Anything for the perfect Instagram, eh? But now the owner has finally had enough.
Speaking to KOB4, the owner's daughter Joanna Quinta said: "We feel like we can't leave because when we, do something happens and that's ridiculous."
Joanna also said that even if the tourists aren't armed with a pizza, they aren't much better: "They feel the need to tell us to close our garage, get out of the picture, you know - tell us what to do on our own property."
Two years ago Breaking Bad creator Vince Gilligan even stepped in and urged fans to stop throwing pizza. He said on the Better Call Saul podcast: "It's just not funny, it's been done before. You are not the first."
Won't somebody please think of all the wasted pizza?
