Will Smith's New Netflix Thriller 'Bright' Looks... Interesting

The second trailer has been released

A Will Smith starring role doesn't come cheap, so it's no surprise that Netflix's upcoming thriller Bright is set to be their priciest yet.

The $90 million project, directed by Suicide Squad's David Ayer and written by Max Landis (American Ultra), is an interesting one: Smith and Joel Egerton play two cops, one a human, one an orc, in an alternate universe Los Angeles filled with magic and wizards.

Egerton's orc is the first of his kind to make it into the human police force, but not without the inevitable discrimination and scrutiny that comes with it. As partners, the two have to patch up their differences as they work to stop a bunch of Bad Wizards from using a Bad Magic Wand, described as "a nuclear bomb that grants wishes."

The supporting cast includes Edgar Ramirez (The Girl on the Train), Noomi Repace (The Girl With the Dragon Tattoo) and Jay Hernandez (Hostel). Check out the trailer below before its 22 December release.
