Well not quite, as Jackson's own dire The Hobbit trilogy proved.

Now, there's another foray into Middle Earth in the works with Warner Bros. Television reportedly developing a show.

According to The Hollywood Reporter, it's all at the very earliest stages, with the studio currently trying to buy the rights from the Tolkien estate.
