First Trailer For The Walking Dead Season 6

Not to mention a full trailer for its spin-off too

The promise of a first look at season six of The Walking Dead was one of the prime reasons we've been excited for this year's Comic-Con - and, lo and behold, a lengthy trailer has just been leaked online.

The clip – which shows off over three minutes worth of footage – provides several hints as to what to expect when Rick and co return in October.

It seems the much-anticipated rivalry between Andrew Lincoln's Rick Grimes and Morgan – Lennie James, fresh from his return in season five's closing moments – is all but confirmed, with the latter forming an apparent alliance with Alexandria leader, Deanna (Tovah Feldshuh).

Fortunately, it seems Rick is continuing to reassert himself as the most unhinged hero since Walter White: in one particular moment, he snarls – while pointing a loaded gun at an unknown figure – "Do you have any idea who you're talking to?"

Not much is made of season five's introduction of new villains, The Wolves – although a tantalising add-on at the end of the trailer shows Daryl (Norman Reedus) fending for himself amongst a group of unknowns in a walker-riddled area. If it wasn't for the shot showing him holding his crossbow, we'd be concerned.
