We imagine a large part of the job of being a Game Of Thrones cast member is undergoing intensive media training at HBO's behest to ensure you never, ever let slip a spoiler: let alone one as momentous to the show's appeal as who is – or isn't – on the chopping block.
So three cheers and a mug of mead for Sophie Turner who betrayed her kings this week by letting slip - potentially, at least – that her character Sansa Stark isn't going anywhere this year.
While being quizzed on the Oscar red carpet by an E! television presenter about looking at the season six scripts, she said: "I'm like flicking through thinking death, death, death, death. I am alright, I am good for this season."
To be fair, we can't find the full footage of the interview so it is possible Sophie was talking about previous seasons or reading the scripts in general, but the idea of Sansa sticking around does seem to fit with the event of the show so far (we know: that hasn't always stopped them in past).
She also said: "This season is a really, really big one for Sansa. It's probably her best season yet.
It's her really coming into her own. She, this season, really commands the respect that she deserves and she grabs hold of it and she runs with it and it's really good."
Sounds to us like the Ned's eldest daughter – currently buried in the snow somewhere around Winterfell with Reek / Theon – is more likely to be doing the killing than getting hurt herself this year, and not before time.
Let's hope she starts with Ramsay Bolton.
