Foo Fighters have released an official announcement amid rumours that they are breaking up.
And the announcement was... a skit mocking the rumours.
The band posted a tweet yesterday (March 2) saying that there would be an "official band announcement" today.
Some fans dreaded that it was a split announcement, after a recent interview with drummer Taylor Hawkins saying they were going on "indefinite 'ihatus'".
However, in the announcement they took the mick out of the rumours, targeting Dave Grohl's apparent false solo ambitions following his Oscars performance.
In it, he tries to forge a solo career with a rather terrible piano direction.
Anyway - they can't break up just yet - Foo Fighters still owe us a Glastonbury headline slot...
The video ends with the actual statement - "for the millionth time, we're not breaking up. And nobody's going f**king solo!"
Oh you trolled us good, Foo Fighters.
