Black Mirror Is Heading To Netflix In A $40m Deal

Channel 4 has lost its battle to retain Britain's darkest - and funniest - TV satire

The critically-acclaimed dystopian drama Black Mirror will be leaving Channel 4 for the greener pastures of Netflix.

Conceived by comedian and journalist Charlie Brooker, Black Mirror grew from a little-known indie project into one of the British broadcaster's biggest hits, selling worldwide over the course of three seasons.

Probably still most famous for an early episode that involved a fictional Prime Minister fornicating with a pig (long before rumours of Dave's supposed uni antics came to light), the show's fourth season has been picked up by American streaming behemoth Netflix for the eye-watering sum of $40m dollars.
