If the idea of relaxing owith a mug of your very own homemade hardcore cider in hand sounds like a great weekend, get ready to be happy.

It's 2017, which means now there's a magical kitchen appliance that links to your smartphone and can whip up a batch of delicious booze at the press of a button.

To use the foolproof Alchema "home cider system," you just select the recipe you want to make from the Alchema app on your phone, then add the necessary amounts of fruit, sugar, water, and yeast to the machine. Finally, just press the start button, and in one to two weeks, you'll have a fresh batch of craft mead or cider. (And if you're really patient and have access to wine grapes, you can have your own homemade wine in 16 weeks.)

The Alchema makes about three wine bottles' worth of alcohol at a time, with the alcohol content potentially ranging from 3.2 percent to 10.8 percent. Thinking this all sounds too good to be true? There is one catch: The Alchema, which is currently available for pre-order on Kickstarter, costs $499, plus the cost of ingredients, of course. Which means you'll have to do some committed drinking to make your money back any time soon.
