Strong words for an objectively inoffensive pizza topping.
Here's another more recent thing Gordon Ramsay has said about putting pineapple on pizza:
"If we can hit 500 donations in the next 48 hours, I will eat this f**king god-awful PINEAPPLE pizza on Facebook Live."
Strong words, but for a good cause. In an Instagram post, Ramsay promised to live stream the consumption of a pineapple pizza if he gets enough donations to the Gordon and Tana Ramsay Foundation, a fund within Great Ormond Street Hospital Charity, which cares for sick children.
If nothing else can bring us together to do good for others, at least we have pizza.
