A night out in - Manchester

Having done a bit of travelling in our search for Britain's Best-dressed man, we've put together another round-up of some of the best places we've been along the way. This week - Manchester.

1 The Hotel - The Lowry
Manchester's first five-star hotel, The Lowry epitomises the gleaming development of Manchester's Chapel Wharf. Friendly staff, spacious rooms and nice added touches like free use of a mobile phone and Playstation - there's even a private butler and chef should you feel the need. Yes please. 2 The Restaurant - Teacup
This quirky little café in the city's Northern Quarter is a great reminder that tea doesn't always get the attention it deserves. Getting its ethos from its owner, DJ and tea-lover Mr. Scruff, Teacup showcases Manchester's talents in music, poetry, and of course, food.

3 The Bar - Common
This bar-restaurant-club-gallery (yes, all one word) is a far cry from what its name suggests. As well as club nights, exhibitions and 'Super Special Membership', there's a running comic strip painted on the wall if you still need mental stimulation.

4 The Shop - Oi Polloi
We regularly feature Oi Polloi on this site so it's no surprise we're already big fans of their approach to menswear - great stock plus a friendly atmosphere that almost makes you as style-hungry as they are.

5 The Place - Royal Exchange Theatre
Standing like the NASA Lunar Landing Module, Britain's largest theatre-in-the-round is actually a room within a room. Built inside the former Cotton Exchange, it makes for an unrivalled audio-visual live experience.
