Magnums at the May Fair

The ritziest place to rest your head this side of, well, The Ritz, the May Fair Hotel has this month launched what is the most decadent drinking innovation we've seen in some time.

150 at the May Fair is a new service - available to guests, diners and drinkers alike - which pairs a magnum bottle of your favourite champagne (or spirit) with a menu of matching canapés specially selected by the hotel's Chef Patron Silvena Rowe.

Taking its name from the 150cLs which make up a Magnum, 150 at the May Fair features a range of premium tipples including Dom Pérignon Vintage, Moët & Chandon and Belvedere Vodka alongside dishes including seared diver-caught scallops and Sevruga caviar. The range of prices means that the new offerings can be enjoyed by both prince and pauper alike (kind of), starting at £650 scaling up to £4,400.
