So needless to say, his decision to wade into the endlessly divisive pineapple-on-pizza debate has sent shock-waves through the culinary community.
The President of Iceland was the last high-profile figure to have his say on the issue, when he (perhaps light-heartedly, perhaps not) declared that he wants to ban the practice on his native isle.

And it looks like Gordon Ramsay will be given free-reign to set up kitchens across Iceland should he see fit, given the fact that he completely agrees with the sweet-n-savoury slamming politician.
