Not content with the high percentage draws of special brew, James Watt and Martin Dickie founded BrewDog back in 2007. Since, the pair have gone on to rustle up some of the most progressive beers we've had the pleasure of sampling, and this month Scotland's largest independent brewery launches it's most daring tipple yet.
Titled, rather grandly "The End of History", the beer weighs in at 55% ABV and will set you back an equally staggering £500, making it the most expensive in the world. Only 12 bottles have been produced - which goes some way to explaining the price tag - and what's more, each bottle comes encased within a taxidermy animal, for added novelty.
With seven dead stoats, four squirrels and one hare on offer (each of which come dressed in vaguely disturbing miniature outfits) the collection, taken as a whole, brings to mind a mad-hatters tea party hosted by Idi Amin.
