Tucked away on a narrow lane off Moorgate, City Caphe’s bánh mì is the slick city workers alternative to a Pret sandwich.
With fillings ranging from roast pork to tofu, all baguettes are generously packed with fiery chilli, crunchy vegetables, fresh coriander and a spread of earthy liver pâté. As expected, it gets pretty busy at lunchtime, so get there early to avoid disappointment.

Fresh whole cuts of pork belly and beef sirloin are marinated in grated garlic, shallots and seasoned using their house blend every morning.
