The Cocktail To Make At Your Next BBQ: The Shoreditch Spring Punch

Each month, cocktail guru Gerry Calabrese (of The Hoxton Pony) creates a cocktail for Esquire. Last month he worked on the perfect drink for soaking up the sun in your garden. This month; a potent punch that's the perfect accompaniment to BBQs. 

Shoreditch Spring Punch

"The perfect drink for your summer home barbecues, crisp and refreshing with bags of punchy natural fruit flavours. I've used one of my favourite gin's Bombay Sapphire which gives it a nice dry kick of juniper on the finish."

Ingredients

3 Raspberries
3 grapes
15ml lemon juice
10ml sugar syrup
20ml st.germain
10ml port
50ml bombay and top souvignon blanc

Method

1 Mix the lemon juice, sugar syrup, st.germain, port, bombay sapphire and sauvignon blanc

2 Shake and strain into a wine glass

3 Top with crushed ice

4 Garnish with the raspberry, grape, mint spring and a lemon twist.
