Esquire's Cocktail Of The Month: Very Berry

Esquire's cocktail expert on why you should try out the perfect late-summer tipple

If you are starting feel a little depressed with the gradual disappearance of summer and the sunshine try this wonderful tipple.  Expect it to nostalgically take you back to summer freedoms and short-wearing activities – the better things in life. Finish off with a nice crisp bite of juniper from the Bombay Sapphire.


Ingredients

3 raspberries
3 basil leaves
25ml lemon juice
15ml sugar syrup
10ml cranberry juice
25ml chambord
40ml Bombay Sapphire

Method

1. Mix the lemon juice and sugar syrup
2. Muddle shake and strain into a coupette
3. Garnish with a single raspberry and basil leaf. (Best served with no ice.)
