For anyone who likes a glass of bubbly, the upcoming sale of Grand Vintage champagnes by Moët & Chandon at Sotheby’s should get your mouth watering.
On the 13 November – to mark the winery’s 270 year-history – 270 bottles of white and rose Champagne will be up for grabs. Spanning almost a century from 1914 to 2004, each one has been carefully stored since bottling in Moet and Chandon’s cellars in Epernay, France. But that’s not all.
In addition to the 270 bottles, 174 magnums and three jeroboams will also be on auction to honour the date of its foundation in 1743.
