It seems the whole world has gone Titanic anniversary mad. And that extends right down to the doomed liner's drinks cabinet.
Yes, Berry Bros. & Rudd are releasing a limited edition, Single Case Malt Whisky to commemorate this month's centenary.
The special edition whisky — of which only 100 bottles are being produced — has been dedicated to The Countess of Rothes, whose heroic actions aboard a lifeboat during the sinking are said to have saved many lives.
The whisky, which has come from a Sherry Cask of The Glenrothes 1998 Speyside, was distilled in the same town that gave the Countess her title — its deep, fruity flavour and honeyed texture are said to be characteristic of the region.
Berry Bros. & Rudd limited addition whisky is priced at £100 per bottle.
