Just opened - Dishoom Chowpatty Beach

Just opened - Dishoom Chowpatty Beach

Dishoom, the excellent Bombay Café that opened in Leicester Square last year, has just opened a pop-up bar on the Southbank based around a reimagining of Bombay's Chowpatty Beach.

48 tonnes of sand and a psychedelic pop-up beach bar make up Dishoom Chowpatty Beach, which will be serving a range of 'local' drinks like Bombay Golas and Spiked Colaba Ice Tea to more convetional beer and wine.

Also on offer will be some classic Bombay food, including Pau Bhaji, the Dishoom Frankie (freshly baked naan filled with spicy lamb mince), Vada Pau (an indian chip butty with homemade chilli chutneys) and Dishoom’s signature bacon naan roll. It's open now until 4 October, dishoom.com/blog/
