If you haven't been watching Gordon Ramsay on Cocaine it isn't an invitation to see him racking up lines at 5am on his kitchen table, but an ITV programme where the celebrity chef explores the cocaine problem in the restaurant industry and exposes the truth behind what goes into your baggy.

Ramsay has been aiming his whole wide-eyed and angry usually reserved for bedraggled amateur chefs on Kitchen Nightmares at Colombian cocaine farmers whose job have, somehow, just gotten even worse.

One man who won't stand for Ramsay's cocaine crusade is Neil Rankin, head chef at Soho's Temper restaurant.

Rankin posted a Facebook update berating Ramsay and arguing that the way he treats his own employees contributes to a culture of drug taking as they're all overworked and argued Ramsay had "glorified kitchen abuse".

The post, which has now been liked over 2,000 times and shared over 500 times argues that, "It's employers like you that made this industry unappealing and held it back for decades and created the long hours that only add to the drug problems."

He also writes that in fact, "Things are looking up for chefs. We're trying to treat them like adults, partners and employees for the first time in decades and give them a future beyond burning out at 30."

No reply from Gordon yet but we imagine it'll be the sort of measured rhetoric we're used to from the big guy
