Isaac McHale, one of The Young Turks — the hip chef collective who made their names with an acclaimed residency above east London pub The Ten Bells — has cooked in some of the planet’s finest kitchens, including “world’s best restaurant” Noma in Copenhagen.
Now he's launched a restaurant serving superior seasonal British food in Shoreditch Town Hall. The five-course menu includes clams with spinach and warm cider with ginger mousse, plus a solid wine list. Did Shoreditch just get cool again?
WHAT TO ORDER: The formidable roast rib of Hereford beef with wild garlic aioli.
