Check into London’s swankiest stopover at Bulgari’s new hotel you’ll find you want to steal the actual minibar, not just its contents.
At the end of a Knightsbridge side street, next to a tiny Cutler & Gross boutique and opposite Italian restaurant Signor Sassi, one of London’s most exciting new hotels has been sneaking up before our eyes.
Following openings in Milan, Tokyo and Bali, the recently unveiled Bulgari hotel is the luxury jeweller and watchmaker’s fourth property and London’s first new hotel build in 40 years.
This latest hotel hosts an onyx, teak and gold leaf-clad spa one could picture Ernst Stavro Blofeld kicking back in; a 47-seat cinema; and 85 generously proportioned rooms and suites. But the best bit? These travel trunk-inspired “minibars”. The classiest way to enjoy miniature bottles of Johnnie Walker and £2.50 Mars bars that we’ve come across.
