Zach Galifianikis' Between Two Ferns is at its finest when he's interviewing extremely serious and important people. Both his interviews with Barack Obama and Hillary Clinton went wildly viral, thanks in part to how fascinating it is to see people who always have to be diplomatic and scripted improvise as they respond to his unique brand of awkward deadpan humor.

But one candidate that he won't be inviting, tempting as it may seem, is Donald Trump.

When Josh Rottenberg of the Los Angeles Times asked him whether or not he'd like to have the class clown on his show, Galifiankis responded with a resounding no.

That doesn't interest me. Doing it the other way doesn't interest me. He's the kind of guy who likes attention—bad attention or good attention. So you're dealing with a psychosis there that's a little weird. I wouldn't have somebody on that's so mentally challenged. I feel like I'd be taking advantage of him. And you can print that.

Damn, that's harsh. But also: fair?
