Expectations were high last night as Saturday Night Live returned for its 42nd season the first weekend after the presidential debate. Alec Baldwin stepped in to play the role of Donald Trump and Kate McKinnon, fresh off an Emmy win, reprised her beloved Hillary Clinton impression. Did the skit live up to the hype?

Yes and no. Baldwin transformed into a fantastic Donald Trump—orange tinted skin, perfect pronunciation of China ("Jhiiina"), and a mouth that looks like a "tiny little butthole" when he stops talking. McKinnon's Hillary was good, as always, but it seemed like she had much less material to work from.

The true star of the show was a surprise appearance by Larry David as Bernie Sanders in a "Family Feud" sketch pitting team Trump against team Hillary, complete with an appearance by Darrell Hammond as a lecherous Bill Clinton hitting on Ivanka Trump.
