Last month we spoke to ex-Prime Minister and Labour leader Tony Blair, and during the interview Blair hinted at a return to politics.
During the discussion Blair said: "Mostly I feel motivation. The centre ground is in retreat. This is our challenge. We've got to rise to that challenge."
Further suggestion that the controversial politician is planning a return came yesterday from a source at The Sunday Times who revealed:, "The former prime minister is setting up an institute close to Whitehall and has held talks with senior ministers and officials as he seeks to re-enter British politics."
The source added that whilst discussing Brexit Blair had said "He's not impressed with Theresa May. He thinks she's a total lightweight.
"He thinks Jeremy Corbyn is a nutter and the Tories are screwing up Brexit. He thinks there's a massive hole in British politics that he can fill."
Spokespeople for Blair have denied he is looking for office space or made comments about either party leaders.
