A tough economy and an escalating housing crisis means that if you don't own a home yet but would quite like to, years of grinding sacrifice and hard work await you.
Unless that is you can convince a millionaire called Marco Robinson - in two paragraphs or less - why you're the person who deserve the keys to his £120,000 fully-furnished and mortgage-free three-bedroom flat in Preston for absolutely diddly-squat.
The property tycoon's remarkable act of generosity was apparently inspired by sleeping rough on park benches in a former life before he made his fortune. The 48-year-old has said he wants to 'give some a lucky break like I was given'. He's also going to be the subject of Channel 4 documentary that charts his decision making process, so there's that.
(Note: there are no pictures of the flat on Robinson's website yet: the picture above is a stock image).
"The people who I want to see live in this flat are people who need a home, they need a sanctuary and some security, and that will make them feel significant again,' he told the Metro, which to be honest probably rules you out for 'finding things a bit tough in the media start up game since uni'.
"I asked for help and I got it from unlikely people. They helped me believe in myself,' he said.
"Now I want to give something back – to give someone a lucky break like I was given when I was starting out.
"Finding people as candidates is going to be easy, there's so many. The difficulty will be choosing just one of so many."

The only condition? If you're successful, you do have to appear in the aforementioned documentary, and probably at some point cry in gratitude.
