If your safe place is where lager is on tap, Sky Sport is constantly playing and split open bags of cheese and onion crisps sit before you, you may sympathise with the following.
According to the Daily Post, a major search and rescue mission was launched after a man was seen walking across the Dwyryd Estuary from Portmeirion in Wales. Fearing for his safety, four coastguard and lifeboat teams and a helicopter team were dispatched, which then spent four hours searching the high seas for him.
Awkwardly, said missing man was in fact having a swift one at the Ship Aground pub in Nearby Talsanau, unaware he was the subject of a manhunt. Eyewitnesses reported that flares were even set off in the desperate mission to rescue the man, unaware he was playing darts round the corner.
A spokesman for Holyhead Coastguard said: "The man was found by police at around 8pm and did not realise the fuss that had been caused."
They deserve a pint.
