A female cyclist in Virginia made her feelings towards Donald Trump pretty clear on Saturday, and Twitter users have described her gesture as heroic.

The woman on a bike was photographed raising her middle finger as the president's motorcade passed her after a visit to the Trump National Golf Club. When the cars slowed down, she reportedly raised her finger a second time as she eventually caught up with the vehicles.

The moment was not only captured by a photographer, but it was also detailed in the White House pool report from that day.

"POTUSs motorcade departed the Trump National Golf Club at 3.12pm, passing two pedestrians, one of whom gave a thumbs down sign," it stated. "Then it overtook a female cyclist, wearing a white top and cycling helmet, who responded by giving the middle finger. The motorcade had to slow and the cyclist caught up, still offering the finger, before turning off in a different direction."

The image has since gone viral, with many social media users tweeting in support of the lone cyclist.

Earlier in the day, a woman stood at the entrance of the golf club with a handwritten sign that said: "Impeach." The pool report also references another pedestrian who also "gave a thumbs-down sign" when the motorcade left the club, just before it passed the cyclist.

According to NBC News, it was Trump's 76th day spent at one of his golf properties since taking office. It's the first time the pool report has witnessed a cyclist greeting the president with this kind of salute, however.
