Here Are The Sex Acts The Government Is Trying To Ban From Porn

Some odd choices

The government is dead set on policing our porn habits - and it looks like it could be on course for a victory.

On Sunday the Conservative Party announced that the controversially draconian Digital Economy Bill, introduced to Parliament back in July, would force porn websites to implement age-verification functions in the supposed name of child safety.

Nobody quite knows how what form this verification process will take, but you can bet that it'll be a whole lot more sophisticated than the gullible "Are you over 18?" entrance buttons that shield current sites.

It could turn out that you need to enter personal details or even provide card details - approaches that would inevitable put people at risk, allowing threats of fraud and blackmail to hang over porn users' heads.

But Theresa May's death grip on grot sites doesn't stop there. The Digital Economy Bill also features a clause that would force internet providers to block websites that feature "nonconventional sex acts."

Most Popular

"Nonconventional", of course, is a dangerously vague descriptor. The Guardian has reported on the sex acts that might be included in the ban, and there are some weirdly random choices:

1 | Spanking

2 | Whipping

3 | Caning

4 | Urination

5 | Female ejaculation

6 | Menstruation

7 | Sex in public

Troubling times, but you can fight the impending legislation by using a private VPN to bypass the blocks. That is, until Parliament bans VPNs too – as many governments have done already.

Oh well, guess you'll have to get your fill, before it's too late. Just, err... wait until you get home. Even we draw the line somewhere.
