The lead-up to the big fight had its fashion highs and lows, but none as high as the brilliant suit McGregor wore to one press conference, which had "Fuck You" stitched into its pinstripes.
After McGregor debuted the suit, the brand behind it, David August, released a limited run to the public that was available for a cool $6,500. After that, the next step— McGregor and David August collaborating on their own label— was practically inevitable.
McGregor described his love of fashion in a press release:
Fashion is something that I am truly passionate about, and I am excited to share exactly that with my fans by giving them a chance to share my iconic looks… We casually chatted about doing a line together, but we finally got serious over the past several months. I know the public will love what lies ahead.
August McGregor suits will range in price from $500 to $1,200. Floyd Mayweather is also cooking up a label of his own, teaming up with German designer Philipp Plein.
