With the latest installment in the Star Trek franchise out next week, the cast - including homegrown actors Idris Elba and Simon Pegg - have been in London, doing the promo rounds and attending the UK premiere.
Premieres, of course, require a certain amount of dressing up, can be a challenge. But it's certainly not been made any easier by some of the questionable style choices made by more than one member of the USS Enterprise.
